Job Summary

Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a skilled Commercial Credit Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial Services portfolio management team, you will be responsible for analyzing commercial credits, maintaining awareness of underwriting guidelines and industry regulations, and preparing department reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze commercial credits to ensure accurate and timely decision-making
  • Stay up-to-date on new and changing underwriting guidelines and industry regulations
  • Prepare weekly and quarterly department reports to provide insights and recommendations
  • Develop a deep understanding of underwriting and tracking software to optimize portfolio management
  • Monitor weekly exception reports to identify and address potential issues

Requirements:

  • Associate or Bachelor degree in a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • 0-2 years of business experience underwriting commercial credits
  • Wolters Kluwer Compliance One and Cash System or similar system

Work Environment:

  • Office environment with occasional remote work
  • Minimal travel required

Physical Demands:

  • Sitting for extended periods
  • Handling equipment and materials
  • Reaching and seeing
