Job Summary

Renown Health is seeking a highly skilled Ultrasound Technologist-Inpatient Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures in various settings, including emergency and trauma units, surgical units, and critical care units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with industry, Federal, State, and Joint Commission standards and requirements.
  • Optimize imaging exams on critical patients and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team in stressful emergency situations.
  • Develop and maintain technical skills to perform new ultrasonic examinations and modalities as they are added to the department product line.
  • Review images for identification, technique, and completeness according to governing body standards.
  • Function as a role model and professional resource to patients, physicians, peers, and the general public.

Requirements:

  • Active registry with either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCV) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Minimum one-year clinical experience in the respective department.
  • AHA BLS certification within sixty (60) days of employment.
