Lehigh Hanson is looking for a Yard Loader Operator to join our team.

We provide essential materials for construction and development. Our vision is sustainable and innovative, extending beyond traditional products. Lehigh Hanson operates numerous locations with a dedicated workforce across North America.

Key Responsibilities

Are you seeking a stable long-term role with a reputable company? Do you have a passion for operating heavy machinery? The selected candidate will manage the efficient handling of raw materials and the replenishment process.

Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies. Conduct thorough pre- and post-shift safety inspections daily. Maintain knowledge of aggregate products. Estimate weight for loading trucks accurately, maintaining stockpiles. Safely and accurately load customer trucks. Communicate effectively with customer truck drivers to ensure quality service. Report repair and safety concerns to supervisors or mechanics. Perform lubrication and minor repairs on equipment as needed. Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Two years of experience operating heavy equipment preferred. Experience in open pit mining operations and aggregate products is advantageous. MSHA training is a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, twist, climb, balance, bend, kneel, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and tolerate various weather conditions.
