Tissue Analyst

At Career Personnel Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Tissue Analyst to join our team of dedicated professionals.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analyzing tissue samples for microscopic examination by a pathologist. This is a critical role in our laboratory, as accurate histology results are essential for diagnosing and treating patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine histology procedures, including tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, and staining
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, such as microtomes, tissue processors, and staining machines
• Prepare slides for examination by pathologists, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and precision of test results
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Histology Technician or in a related field
• Proficiency in histology techniques and procedures
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
• Experience working in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting is preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
