As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure safe and effective treatment.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, physical condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of evidence-based practices.
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certification 30 days upon hire and maintain current preferred.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.
- Ventilator Management experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
