Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Patient Care Assistant to join our Medical Oncology team. As a Patient Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care
- Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6 months of prior healthcare experience preferred
- STNA certification preferred but not required
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
