Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct precise and timely laboratory analyses by evaluating proficiency testing samples in accordance with established protocols.
  • Take charge of departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation related to patient results is completed accurately.
  • Execute urgent procedures within the designated turnaround time.
  • Exhibit sound judgment and independent reasoning in the interpretation and correlation of patient results, including performing delta checks.
  • Review pending logs and result logs, addressing any outstanding tasks or communicating with relief staff as needed.
  • Implement quality control measures as per established guidelines and manage any critical laboratory specimens or test results.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a 2 Year/Associate Degree is required.
  • A 4 Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
  • ASCP certification (or equivalent) is preferred, or the ability to secure a license within the first six months of employment.
