Pharmacist - 30-hour Floater

At Publix Super Markets, Inc., we're passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and providing a positive work environment for our associates. As a Pharmacist - 30-hour Floater, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the success of our pharmacy departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional patient care and service, including immunizations, medication therapy management, and other clinical services.
  • Lead and motivate pharmacy teams to achieve sales and profit goals, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage daily tasks and priorities to maximize contribution to the pharmacy's success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and associates, promoting customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy technology and best practices, using this knowledge to drive business decisions and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be a graduate of a school of pharmacy.
  • Must have and maintain an unrestricted, state pharmacist license.
  • Must not have active suspensions, sanctions, or other restrictions related to participation in a private, federal, or state health insurance program upon hire and thereafter.
  • Must not have received an unacceptable result on a company-sponsored drug test within the last three years.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Be an immunizing pharmacist meeting the requirements as established by the state (or be scheduled to become an immunizer in the next set of training classes).
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and understand instructions and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of retail merchandising and inventory control.
