Job Description

As a Group Home Paraprofessional, you will play a vital role in supporting our residents in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centered care and support to residents with intellectual or developmental disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Transporting residents to appointments and outings in the community
  • Documenting progress and service delivery in progress notes
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to read, write, understand, and follow directions
  • No substantiated findings on the NC Health Care Abuse Registry
  • Valid driver's license and three years of driving experience
