Data Collector for AR VR Technology

Job Summary

We are seeking an entry-level data collector to join our team at Insight Global. As a data collector, you will be responsible for collecting data using AR VR technology in real-world locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Collect data using AR VR devices on prearranged paths in downtown areas
  • Set up prototype equipment and software according to instruction manuals and training
  • Use equipment to collect data using a defined set of standard operating procedures and predetermined paths
  • Communicate with the public about the project using pre-authorized, NDA-approved scripts
  • Review data using embedded software and recollect if necessary
  • Upload data to company servers through client-provided laptops
Requirements:
  • Ability to walk up to 8 miles a day
  • Good level of fitness: able to walk, jog on city terrain, possibly including hills
  • Capable of carrying up to 10 lbs for extended periods
  • Capable of working on a computer and/or phone for extended periods
  • High-level of verbal and written communication skills using email, instant messaging, and video conferencing
  • Mature and confident interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to anyone
  • Understanding of deadlines and milestones with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow documented procedures and escalate any questions/concerns
  • Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and working on Android/iPhone and MacOS
