Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and bilingual Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction through effective communication and product knowledge.
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and consistently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain precise work order files and formulas, ensuring accurate inventory management and efficient operations.
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, tint and mix products as needed, and stock shelves and set up displays.
  • Clean store equipment, load/unload delivery trucks, and assist with deliveries as needed.
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and suggesting ways to improve sales.
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish.
  • Must be able to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks, lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED.
  • Have at least one year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position.
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
