Education Advisor

Sage Oak Charter Schools is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Education Advisor to join our team. As an Education Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting high school students in achieving their academic goals and ensuring their success in an independent study environment.

• Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students, including identifying academic strengths and weaknesses, setting goals, and creating strategies for improvement.
• Provide academic support and guidance to students, including tutoring, mentoring, and advising on course selection and academic planning.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and teachers to ensure student success and address any academic or personal challenges.
• Monitor student progress and adjust learning plans as needed to ensure students are meeting their academic goals.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and teachers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns or questions.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in education and to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Master's degree in Education or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in education, preferably in a high school setting.
• Strong knowledge of curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
