Position Overview

Salary: $26 per hour

The Academy of Magical Arts, renowned for its exceptional contributions to the world of magic, seeks skilled and dedicated Special Events Support Staff. This role is essential in creating memorable experiences for our members and their guests, ensuring that every event is executed flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare event spaces according to specific requirements.
  • Serve food and beverages with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items and offerings.
  • Clear tables post-event and assist in maintaining cleanliness.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the service period.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to foster a positive work environment.
  • Assist with various tasks, including cleaning and organizing supplies.

Qualifications:

  • Certification in food safety is required.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Alcohol service certification is necessary.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
