As a CDL Driver at WestRock, you will be responsible for safely transporting materials and goods to and from our plant, adhering to all safety and DOT procedures. This role requires occasional delivery of loads to customers and assisting in loading/unloading freight from our trucks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify accurate shipments and match case and barcode labels to prevent mix-ups with customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards and WestRock's Core Values.
- Follow all safety policies and guidelines, including wearing required PPE and participating in the safety participation program.
- Comply with safety absolutes and use the S.T.E.P. method (Stop, Think, Evaluate, and Plan) to prevent accidents.
