POSITION SUMMARY

A Facilities Maintenance Technician position is available within our organization to manage the repair and maintenance of hotel facilities, ensuring compliance with our quality benchmarks while prioritizing guest satisfaction and safety.

DESIRED CANDIDATE PROFILE
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent education is required. Ideally, one (1) year of pertinent experience in general maintenance.
PRIMARY DUTIES
  • Respond to and manage guest repair requests, ensuring compliance with quality benchmarks.
  • Effectively resolve maintenance challenges through guest communication, requiring minimal oversight.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction and service standards.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled by the Chief Engineer to uphold property condition.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and request parts as needed.
  • Document daily activities and communicate issues to other shifts using approved communication methods.
  • Perform complex repairs on physical property, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems in accordance with safety protocols and company standards.
  • Troubleshoot and repair various systems and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and more.
  • Adhere to hotel safety policies, utilize safety equipment, and report any incidents without delay.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety in the work area for efficient task execution.
  • Perform additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Physical Requirements: The role necessitates lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects up to 50 pounds unassisted, as well as heavier tasks with assistance. It requires movement on stairs, ladders, standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift.

Due to the dynamic nature of the industry, employees may be required to work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends, based on business needs. Attendance at scheduled training and meetings is essential.
