We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at Outsource, the nation's leading provider of low voltage and electrical talent.
The ideal candidate will have recent experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems in a commercial construction environment, as well as a strong background in electronics.
Responsibilities will include:
- Installation, service, and troubleshooting of various fire alarm systems, including Silent Knight, Simplex, Notifier, EST, Fire Lite, and more.
- Installing fire alarm devices, such as pull stations, horns, strobes, sirens, smoke detectors, heat detectors, panels, and glass breaks.
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete commercial installation and service projects.
Requirements:
- Recent experience with fire alarm system installation and service in a commercial setting.
- Texas Fire Alarm License.
- Basic hand tools.
- Fire alarm service or programming experience is a plus.
- Strong background in electronics.
Benefits:
- Competitive starting pay $15-$30/hr, depending on experience.
