About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Security Officer to join our team at AEG. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our students, employees, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for all individuals on campus
  • Conduct regular patrols of the campus to identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Screen all individuals and vehicles entering the campus
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide first aid/CPR/AED as needed
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and secure experience for all individuals on campus
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve security and safety protocols
  • Conduct investigations and complete incident reports as needed
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of security-related experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull equipment or boxes in excess of 40lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree or higher
  • Law enforcement, military, or security experience
  • Bi-lingual (English and Spanish)
  • Expected to pursue certification
