About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Fellowship Speech Pathologist to join our team at AdventHealth Central Texas. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced Speech and Language Pathologists to provide high-quality patient care and develop your clinical skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and re-evaluations according to standards and recommended techniques, under the mentorship of a licensed Speech and Language Pathologist.
  • Establish, implement, and adapt an individualized treatment plan of care (including appropriate goal setting, treatment activities and frequency).
  • Discharge patients when maximum benefit has been achieved and/or according to standards of practice and payor guidelines.
  • Document accurately, completely, and timely with legible handwriting.
  • Charge patients accurately, timely and legibly according to guidelines of the CPT code format, price file, and following insurance guidelines.
  • Identify the need for patient/caregiver education and utilize each opportunity for teaching on a planned or spontaneous basis.
Requirements
  • Completed Master's degree in Speech and Language Pathology.
  • Must obtain a Provisional Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license within 60 days of hire.
