Job Summary:

As a ShiftMed CNA, you will be responsible for delivering safe and compassionate care to vulnerable patient populations. Your duties will include measuring patient vital signs, notifying the nursing supervisor of any concerns, and assisting patients with ambulation and proper bed positioning.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure patient vital signs accurately
  • Notify the nursing supervisor of any patient concerns
  • Assist patients with ambulation and proper bed positioning
  • Identify and communicate abnormal findings to the nursing supervisor
  • Provide timely and accurate documentation
  • Help patients with bathing and grooming
  • Feed patients and document intake
Requirements:
  • Certification from an accredited CNA training course
  • Active CNA license from the state in which you plan to work
  • Minimum 1 year acute care of CNA work experience
  • Physical stamina to handle long hours of standing and walking
  • Annual physical
  • Negative TB test results
  • BLS in CPR
  • Basic Computer Skills
