Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our dynamic team at Prokatchers LLC. This role involves providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on critical and neuro-medical cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Capacity: Manage care for a total of 42 beds, including specialized units for Neuro/Med, CTICU, and Surgical/Trauma patients.
- Common Diagnoses: Handle a variety of patient conditions such as strokes, sepsis, acute mental status changes, respiratory failure, congestive heart failure, and post-st-elevation myocardial infarction.
- Critical Care Management: Provide care for patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries, including those in cardiogenic shock and major post-operative recovery.
- Medication Administration: Administer a range of medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation agents.
- Specialized Equipment: Utilize advanced medical equipment such as intra-aortic balloon pumps, continuous renal replacement therapy systems, and intracranial pressure monitoring devices.
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Maintain a ratio of 1:1 to 1:2, ensuring high-quality care.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to float between units as required.
- Uniform: Adhere to the designated scrub color of navy.
