Key Responsibilities
  • Provide spiritual care and counseling to patients and families, addressing their emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans that address spiritual and emotional needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local faith communities and spiritual leaders to promote interfaith understanding and cooperation.
  • Participate in hospital-wide initiatives to promote spiritual care and well-being, such as education and training programs.
  • Conduct spiritual assessments and develop plans to address the spiritual needs of patients and families.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology or related field, with a concentration in Seminary.
  • Licensed or ordained minister by a recognized faith group.
  • Five years of experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in a chaplaincy or spiritual care role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
