Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at Chick-fil-A North Valdosta in Valdosta, GA. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing kitchen staff, ensuring the quality of food preparation, and maintaining kitchen safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Participate in day-to-day activities in high-volume, fast-paced Restaurant environments, ensuring seamless execution of kitchen operations.
- Guest Experience: Offer immediate and respectful response to Guest's needs, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Team Development: Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model for our team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Productivity and Efficiency: Open and/or close, lead shifts, manage productivity, and ensure a clean and food-safe environment at all times.
- Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen management role, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams.
- Food Safety and Operations: Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen operations, with a strong understanding of quality control procedures.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve exceptional results.
- Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and maintain attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Team Player with a Positive Attitude: Team player with a positive attitude, passionate about relationship-building, and committed to delivering exceptional results.
- Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary certification is a plus.
