Job Opportunity

FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our Skaneateles, NY location. As a Physical Therapist at FYZICAL, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in balance and vestibular rehabilitation.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct new-patient evaluations and exams to diagnose patients and evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create personalized treatment plans that set goals and completion dates
  • Equip patients with physical therapy intervention techniques and exercises, tracking progress and providing education on continuation of care
  • Participate in public events, such as medical fairs, to present balance knowledge and educate patients
  • Communicate with referring and potentially referring physicians
Requirements
  • Accredited PT program graduate
  • Up-to-date NY State PT license
  • Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Must be passionate about helping patients with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall risk issues
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
Benefits
  • Fair pay, with compensation between $70K - $91,000 annually, depending on experience level
  • Sign-on bonus of $3,000 and up to $2,000 moving expenses with a minimum 3-year commitment
  • Fair hours, with an average of 8 hours of patient care per day
  • Fair patient load, with a maximum average of 10 to 12 patients per day
