Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Community Health System. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic sonographic examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic sonographic examinations utilizing ultrasonic equipment to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data.
  • Schedule and coordinate tests, record test results, and prepare and maintain operational logs.
  • Calibrate and maintain equipment and order supplies as needed.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
Requirements
  • A two-year allied health degree or successful completion of an approved one-year program in Ultrasound Technology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field of diagnostic medical sonography.
  • Registration with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
