We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Team Member to join our Packaging and Utility team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our packaging lines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure food safety and quality by adhering to company protocols and procedures.
- Operate and maintain packaging equipment, including mills and package materials.
- Clean and maintain dust collectors, floors, dryers, and production equipment.
- Assist with dryer startup and shutdown procedures.
- Assemble and disassemble packaging equipment, including hammer mills and tape machines.
- Setup and tear down production equipment as needed.
- Move ingredients and materials to and from storage areas.
- Accurately document daily production and quality control data.
- Collect and prepare samples for quality testing.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce waste.
- Commitment to a zero-injury culture and adherence to company safety procedures.
- Regular and prompt attendance, with flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the position, including standing, sitting, and lifting up to 55 pounds.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional image and attitude at all times.
- Exposure to various environmental conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and humidity.
- Use of personal protective equipment, including hard hats, earplugs, safety glasses, and steel-toed shoes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying tasks and priorities.
- Frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds and transport materials and equipment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills.
