Job Title: RN Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team at St. Margaret's Center, a pediatric and young adult skilled nursing facility in Albany, NY.

About St. Margaret's Center

St. Margaret's Center is a 94-bed skilled nursing facility serving medically fragile infants, children, and young adults. Our facility is dedicated to providing cutting-edge, long-term, 24-hour intensive medical care in a nurturing and home-like setting.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the nursing care of residents provided by staff
  • Make independent decisions regarding nursing care
  • Manage staffing issues during tour of duty, in compliance with facility policy and chain of command
  • Conduct rounds to all resident units at least twice a shift to ensure environmental and infection control standards are maintained
  • Discipline staff in consultation with Nursing Administration
  • Ensure completion of unit 24-hour reports and Nursing Supervisor report
  • Actively participate in the Quality Improvement process through the completion of staff audits
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • NYS RN License
  • At least 3 years of related experience, specifically in long term care or care of the developmentally disabled
  • A minimum of 1 year supervisory experience
