Occupational Therapist

This PRN (as needed) position offers the opportunity to work with patients in various settings, providing occupational therapy services that improve their quality of life. As an Occupational Therapist with Amedisys, you will be part of a dynamic team committed to making a positive impact in the lives of our patients.

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist who is licensed to practice in the state they are assigned to work and has experience working with adults. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to patient care, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and cognitive abilities
• Develop and implement personalized plans of care that promote independence, mobility, and overall well-being
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Maintain accurate records and reports of patient progress and outcomes

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state you are assigned to work
• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
• Eligible for or successfully completed NBCOT certification examination
• At least one year of related occupational therapy experience
• Current CPR certification

Amedisys offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
