Naphcare, Inc. is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team in an evening shift role. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities:- Receive and fill prescription requests for patients, verifying accuracy and completeness of information.
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for all medications, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Fill prescribed medications, affixing labels as necessary, and ensuring accurate inventory management.
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work areas, including sterilization as required.
- Order, label, and count stock medications, chemicals, and supplies, and enter inventory data.
- Receive and store incoming supplies, verifying quantities against invoices, and reporting stock needs and/or shortages.
- Ensure compliance with state licensure, accreditation, regulatory agency requirements, and company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients, peers, and employees at all levels within the organization.
- Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Pharmacy Technician certification issued by the Alabama Board of Pharmacy.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician, with PTCB certification and USP 797 experience preferred.
