About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Radiology Student Technologist to join our team at Bon Secours Mercy Health. As a Radiology Student Technologist, you will work under the direction of a Registered Radiologic Technologist to assist with various radiographic exams and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient information review and preparation for radiographic exams.
  • Provide support with patient transportation and lifting assistance.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited radiology program with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
  • General X-Ray Machine Operator state limited license (preferred).

Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with periods of high stress and fluctuating workloads. You may be exposed to physical altercations and verbal abuse, and may be required to use physical restraints. You will also be exposed to high noise levels and bright lights, and may be required to work in a general office environment.
