About the Role

Nashville General Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team as a full-time Nurse. This is a 40-hour per week position with staggered start and stop times between 7:30am-5:00pm. On-call evenings, weekend, and holiday requirements apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care based on age-specific needs, utilizing a developmental perspective.
  • Systematically collect, record, and communicate data regarding patients' health status.
  • Evaluate and document patients' responses to interventions and procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care in conjunction with patients and their families.
  • Participate in patient education, utilizing available resources and adjusting to meet patients' unique needs.
  • Consult, re-evaluate, and revise multidisciplinary plans of care based on patients' progress and behaviors.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved nursing program, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
  • Active license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Tennessee.
  • BLS required.
  • 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse, Endoscopy experience preferred.
