Job Title: Emergency Department Technician

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and families.

Job Summary:

The Emergency Department Technician participates in patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The ED Tech provides patient transport, hygiene and comfort measures, and cleans and restocks patient rooms. The ED Tech also performs secretarial duties necessary for the smooth functioning of the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient transport and hygiene and comfort measures
  • Clean and restock patient rooms
  • Perform secretarial duties as needed
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant program required
  • Six months experience in a pre-hospital or acute care health setting preferred
  • Washington State (DOH) Nursing Assistant certification required
  • American Heart Association BLS required
