We are in search of a senior software engineer who aligns with our values and possesses extensive experience in managing and leveraging Content Delivery Networks (CDNs).
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of enhancements to our infrastructure, optimizing the use of CDNs.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams.
- Implement security-focused improvements at the CDN level.
- Establish standards for CDN utilization across the organization.
- Create tools that promote automation and self-service capabilities.
- Assist engineering teams in diagnosing failures and performance challenges related to CDN.
- Engage in an on-call rotation to address all responsibilities mentioned.
- Provide mentorship to fellow team members.
Your Qualifications:
- Over 5 years of practical experience in CDN management.
- Comprehensive understanding of edge architecture and its functionalities.
- Proficient experience with open-source platforms.
- Strong grasp of protocols such as DNS, TCP, TLS, and HTTP.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- A personal dedication to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with cloud computing environments.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of networking and routing principles.
- Experience with platforms like Cloudflare or Fastly.
- Proficiency in using Terraform.
