Job Title: Geriatric Caregiver

Job Description:

  • We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Geriatric Caregiver to join our team at Manor Lake Hoschton. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.
  • Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as providing vital signs, weight, and measure residents, and observing and reporting any changes in resident conditions.
  • You will also be responsible for preparing residents for meals and snacks, performing after-meal resident care, and maintaining resident confidentiality and treating residents with kindness, dignity, and respect.
  • Ongoing education and training are essential to success in this role, so we encourage candidates who are eager to learn and grow with our organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with geriatric patients is highly desirable.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, and move objects weighing up to 75 pounds, as well as tolerate extended periods of walking and standing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
