The American Academy of Neurology is committed to advancing neurological health through education, research, and advocacy. As a Professional Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing programs that support the growth and success of neurology residents and program directors.

Job Description:
  • This position involves close collaboration with key stakeholders to create impactful educational resources and engaging events that foster professional development and promote workforce sustainability.
  • The Professional Development Specialist ensures that initiatives align with the AAN's strategic objectives by actively engaging with residency programs and responding to the ever-evolving needs of the neurology workforce.

As a seasoned program manager, you will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in managing programs, providing customer service, or administrative support to drive meaningful change and advancement in the field of neurology.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Public Health, Healthcare Management, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a program management, customer service, or administrative support area is required.
