Employment Type: Part-Time

Overview: We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support our practice. The SLPA will operate under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to deliver therapeutic services, assist in the execution of treatment strategies, and aid clients in enhancing their communication abilities.

Key Duties:

  • Execute speech therapy interventions as instructed by the supervising SLP.
  • Assist in the organization and upkeep of therapy resources.
  • Record patient advancements and communicate observations to the SLP.
  • Help clients improve their articulation, language skills, fluency, and social communication.
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals and family members to ensure holistic care.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or a related discipline.
  • State certification/licensure as an SLPA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Experience with pediatric or adult populations is advantageous.
