About the Job:

We're looking for a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Food and Beverage Host. As a Food and Beverage Host, you will be responsible for coordinating activities of dining room personnel to ensure efficient and courteous service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Presentation: Present menu items and daily specials to our guests.
  • Preparation: Prepare the restaurant for reservations and special functions.
  • Scheduling: Schedule dining reservations and arrange parties or special services for diners through Open Table.
  • Guest Relations: Greet guests by name, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
  • Conflict Resolution: Work to resolve complaints by patrons and inform the Manager of Chef.
  • Housekeeping: Ensure that the office and host stand is kept clean and presentable.
  • Teamwork: Maintain a positive attitude and work effectively with colleagues to achieve our goals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a strong attention to detail. You must also be able to obtain a TAPS card and Food Handlers Card within the introductory period.

Physical Demands:

  • Standing and Walking: Regularly required to stand and walk while performing duties.
  • Reach and Stooping: Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Lifting: Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $40,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
