Compression Technician

Certarus (USA) Ltd. is seeking a skilled Compression Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for the preventive and corrective maintenance, application, start-up, and commissioning of our CNG compression assets.

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNG compression equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issues on CNG equipment.
• Commission new CNG compression assets and perform end-service inspections.
• Contribute to maintaining an effective spares parts and materials inventory.
• Prepare and enter maintenance reports into our Computer Management Maintenance System (CMMS).

• Minimum 3-5 years of field service gas compressor experience.
• Natural Gas Compression and additional OEM and industry training beneficial in lieu of experience.
• Waukesha VGF and Ariel systems an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and technical communication skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence and deal tactfully with a wide range of personalities.
• Exceptional work ethic with a positive, analytical, and safe work attitude.
• Basic skills in the use of computer-based programs such as MS 365.
