We are seeking a highly skilled Infection Preventionist to join our Nursing Management team at Lowry Hills Care and Rehabilitation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing infection control policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Infection Control Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive infection control policies and procedures to prevent and control the spread of infections.
- Conduct Staff Training and Education: Provide regular training and education to staff on infection control best practices and procedures.
- Monitor and Evaluate Infection Control Practices: Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work closely with nursing, medical, and administrative staff to ensure effective infection control practices.
- Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Developments: Stay current with the latest infection control guidelines, regulations, and best practices.
- Certified Infection Preventionist (CIP) Certification: Must possess a current CIP certification.
- Experience in Infection Control: Must have experience in infection control and prevention.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Must possess strong leadership and communication skills to effectively train and educate staff.
- Dependable and Regular Attendance: Must demonstrate dependable and regular attendance.
$34-$42 per hour, Sunday-Thursday.
