We are in search of a skilled Manager to lead our Cash Application department. This role is crucial for overseeing a dedicated team, ensuring adherence to company policies, and enhancing operational processes for greater efficiency and precision. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills across various departments.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation: Based on Experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily activities of the Cash Application team, ensuring timely and accurate application of all cash receipts.
  • Establish and uphold policies and procedures for cash application to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyze cash application metrics to identify trends, challenges, and areas for enhancement.
  • Conduct regular reviews of cash applications to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Lead and mentor a team of cash application analysts, providing training, support, and performance assessments.
  • Work collaboratively with Finance, Accounts Receivable, and other departments to address payment discrepancies and refine cash application processes.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on cash application metrics, performance, and trends for management evaluation.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in cash application or accounts receivable management.
  • Strong grasp of accounting principles and practices related to cash application.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and standard tools such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of motivating and developing team members.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and Outlook.
