Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

  1. Certification as a Nurse Practitioner is mandatory, or Family Nurse Practitioner certification as specified by the department.
  2. Must hold and sustain licensure as mandated by Illinois State regulations for Advanced Practice Nurses.
  3. A minimum of two years of post-graduate experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse is required.
  4. Current CPR certification is necessary; ACLS certification is required where applicable.
  5. Must maintain a valid DEA license when necessary.
