Job Overview:
The Harris Geospatial Solutions is in search of a Senior Financial Planning Analyst specializing in Program Finance. This role is integral to the Financial Planning & Analysis department, directly reporting to the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.

Position Summary:


This pivotal role is responsible for leading the forecasting cycles on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, along with financial reporting and analysis. The analyst will also contribute to the annual and long-term planning processes for a significant division within the ISR Sector, which has a budget of $3 billion.

The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy, utilizing their expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis to execute various assignments effectively.

Collaboration with multiple departments, including program finance, operations, supply chain, and program leadership, is essential for success in this position.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of Division Program Orders, Sales, Operating Income, and Collections to guarantee accurate reporting.
  • Lead the Division Monthly Forecast Review (MFR) Process.
  • Assist in quarter-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly financial reports for Leadership.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and support as required, focusing on margin optimization, material variance analyses, and labor trend analyses.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a Graduate Degree with at least 4 years of related experience, or a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.

Proficiency in Excel is essential.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with FCSTGov, COBRA, DOD financial analysis, and familiarity with SAP, SMART View, Hyperion/Oracle EPM is advantageous.

Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively are highly valued.
