Job Summary: Colorado Retina Associates is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced ophthalmic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians with patient care and exams, including preparing patients for procedures and administering medications as directed.
  • Perform technical tasks, such as obtaining patient history, documenting medical information, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Operate and maintain ophthalmic equipment, including diagnostic instruments and medical devices.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in ophthalmic or medical field; certification (COA, COT, COMT) a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
