We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist Pharmacist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide expert clinical care to patients with lymphoma and other complex conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care activities, including medication therapy management and clinical interventions.
- Monitor and evaluate drug therapy regimens to ensure safety, efficacy, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Oversee the work of pharmacy students, technicians, and pharmacists to ensure high-quality care and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in oncology and lymphoma treatment.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy.
- ASHP-accredited Post Graduate Year 1 and 2 Residency or Fellowship or equivalent experience in the specialty area.
- Relevant Pharmacy Specialty Board certification is preferred.
- Active Georgia Pharmacist license or eligibility for licensure with attempt to register for 60 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support is required within 1 year for all positions with Code Blue coverage responsibility.
