Job Overview

Clifford-Jacobs Forging Company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and clamp tooling to machine
  • Set reference points off of tooling
  • Set tool lengths
  • Change tooling inserts
  • Locate and load appropriate tool paths to machine
  • Set speed and feeds to achieve optimal performance
  • Deburr tooling as needed
  • Locate model reference planes to match part on machine
  • Choose appropriate tool path
  • Choose appropriate cutter
  • Post programs

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in CNC programming and operation
  • Experience with CNC Lathes and CNC Mills
  • Able to read blueprints
