Housekeeping Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team at Elderwood Village at Vestal. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

This is a regular full-time position with a competitive salary range of $15,500 - $16,500 per year, depending on experience.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of resident rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Assist with moving personal belongings of residents and cleaning and disinfecting floors, furniture, beds, and bathrooms according to established procedures.
• FOLLOW safety rules and regulations, including fire safety protocols and hazard prevention.
• Practice infection control principles in cleaning methods and maintain personal hygiene standards.
• Store cleaning compounds and hazardous substances properly to ensure resident and staff safety.
• Collect and dispose of trash and refuse in a manner that prevents disease transmission and maintains a safe environment.

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Custodial, janitorial, housekeeping, and/or laundry experience is desired.

This position requires regular interaction with residents, coworkers, visitors, and supervisors. To ensure a safe work environment, the successful candidate must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
