**Diagnostic Imaging Specialist**
At Scotland Health Care System, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on selective portions of the anatomy as requested by clinicians.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ultrasound procedures and be able to obtain diagnostic quality studies. Additionally, you will be responsible for obtaining patient history and clinical data to aid in proper diagnostic correlation.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform ultrasound examinations on selective portions of the anatomy
- Obtain patient history and clinical data
- Work scheduled and on-call hours as necessary
**Qualifications:**
- Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation Program or equivalent on-the-job training program
- Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers or equivalent desirable
- One year experience as a sonographer
- Familiarity with ultrasound equipment and CRT/hospital computer systems
- Excellent communication and organization skills
