Job Description

At IMI, we are looking for a highly skilled Fabrication Designer to join our team. As a Fabrication Designer, you will be responsible for interpreting structural design drawings to create accurate and detailed fabrication and erection drawings for structural steel.

You will work closely with the design team to ensure that drawings are complete and accurate, and meet the required standards.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and review detailed drawings for structural steel and miscellaneous metals.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
  • Perform site visits to obtain project dimensions and specifications as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience with Tekla required.
  • Experience with Revit and BIM preferred but not required.

Estimated Salary: $65K - $85K per year
