As a key member of our Buildings and Program Management group, you will be responsible for leading our structural design projects and overseeing a growing team of engineers.
Responsibilities- Provide technical design leadership for buildings projects, ensuring compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, including budgeting, scheduling, and client management.
- Attend project sites and client meetings to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, M.S. preferred.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in the state of California, with a plus for Washington state.
- 8+ years of relevant structural design engineering experience, including concrete, steel, masonry, and wood.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and standards specific to the West Coast.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including Revit, RAM Products, ETABS, StructurePoint, and ENERCALC.
- Knowledge of building codes and standards, as well as construction practices.
- Litigation experience is a plus.
The pay range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000 annual salary, with the possibility of restricted stock units and a comprehensive benefits package.
