We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to fill a critical role in our diagnostic imaging department at Wtaj Cbs 10. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality patient care and imaging services.
- Under the direction of the Diagnostic Supervisor, you will utilize stationary or portable imaging modalities to provide patient imaging services, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
- You will be responsible for ensuring patient positioning and preparation of facilities, equipment, and supplies for patient services, maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- You will transfer patients between wheelchairs, stretchers, exam tables, and patient units, prioritizing patient comfort and dignity.
- You will perform bone densitometry and all general radiographic procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology, with a strong foundation in patient care and imaging principles.
- Experience applying customer service behaviors and communication skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- One year current experience as a staff technologist, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and certification.
- Recent X Ray Technologist graduates must achieve registered status within 12 months, with a focus on meeting the highest standards of patient care and imaging excellence.
- DEXA scanner users must achieve registry within 12 months of assignment in DEXA by the International Society of Clinical Densitometry or equivalent, with a focus on delivering accurate and reliable results.
- Current CPR/AED certification, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Clinical Instructor Certification, with a focus on sharing knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students.
- Multiple shifts/schedules available, with a focus on flexibility and work-life balance.
