Job Overview

We are currently seeking a qualified Substitute Maintenance Worker - 2nd Shift to join our team at Phillipsburg School District.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine custodial duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining the overall appearance of school facilities.

Job Description:

  • Provide exceptional custodial services to support student learning and faculty productivity
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for students, staff, and visitors
  • Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and colleagues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and standards

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
  • Ability to work above ground from ladders and automatic lifts
  • Required criminal history background check
